I recently got a 40% bonus to transfer points from my American Express Membership Rewards account to British Airways Avios. This was a great offer for me because I have been wanting to acquire more Avios for upcoming travel (Avios is the currency name for British Airways miles). Then I noticed the British Airways Visa Signature Card offer.
British Airways Visa Signature Card Bonus
After you spend $3,000 within three months, you receive 50,000 Avios and if you spend a total of $20,000 within 12 months, you get another 50,000 Avios. This was also a great offer and after checking my Chase 5/24 status, I applied for it. Note: under the Chase 5/24 rule, if you’ve opened more than five credit cards in the past 24 months, your application will be automatically rejected regardless of your credit score.

When you book a round-trip flight on British Airways that originates in the USA, you get a 10% discount off the fare. You have to book it at www.britishairways.com using your British Airways Visa Signature Card and with the promotion code CHASEBA10. You also have to book the travel by March 31, 2020.
Flight Reward Statement Credit
When you book a reward flight to London on British Airways and pay taxes, fees and charges with the British Airways Visa Signature® Card, you get statement credits of $100 for Economy & Premium Economy or $200 for Business and First Class – 3 times per year, up to $600.
Travel Together Ticket
You can earn a Travel Together Ticket every calendar year that you make $30,000 in purchases on your British Airways Visa Signature®Card. It gives you a second seat in the same cabin for a companion. The ticket is valid for two years when you redeem Avios for a flight on British Airways. Your flight has to be a round-trip flight and originate in the U.S. You also have to pay taxes and fees on the companion ticket. This might be the most valuable aspect of this card.
Additional Perks
As a Visa Signature group card, The British Airways Visa Signature® Card offers additional benefits including access to the Visa Signature Luxury Hotel Collection, baggage protection, and purchase protection. It also offers primary car rental insurance outside the U.S. and secondary insurance coverage in the U.S. You will not be charged foreign transactions fees on purchases made outside the U.S. You can also use your Avios to pay for your taxes, fees, and carrier-imposed charges for your reward tickets by calling the number on the back of your card.
